This page describes the terms and conditions (“Offer Terms”) that apply to OhmConnect’s $50 Credit Partner Offer (referred to in these terms and conditions as the “Credit Offer Promotion” or the “Promotion”), open to electric service customers of PG&E, SCE and SDG&E, all as further described below.
PLEASE READ THESE OFFER TERMS CAREFULLY AND IN FULL. THEY CONTAIN CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS ON THE CREDIT OFFER PROMOTION.
OhmConnect is a free service that can help consumers decrease energy usage during periods of high demand. OhmConnect, Inc. (“OhmConnect”) is offering a $50 wallet credit to new customers of OhmConnect who sign up for OhmConnect’s demand response program through a link provided by a partner participating in this Credit Offer Promotion and authorize their utility usage data to be shared with OhmConnect. These Offer Terms for the Credit Offer Promotion incorporate by reference the additional terms and conditions corresponding to OhmConnect’s demand response program, which can be found here:
You must be a new OhmConnect customer and enrolled in OhmConnect’s demand response program to be eligible to participate in the Credit Offer Promotion.
These Offer Terms are meant to be consistent with and supplementary to the Terms of Service. In the event of any inconsistency or direct conflict between these Offer Terms and the Terms of Service, these Offer Terms will prevail.
Subject to availability, OhmConnect will provide a $50 credit to your OhmConnect wallet (which can be redeemed via gift card or PayPal) to each Participant who satisfies the eligibility requirements between June 24, 2022 at 12:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) and December 31, 2024 at 11:59 PM PT (the “Promotional Period”), including following the partner’s link, enrolling in OhmConnect’s demand response program, authorizing your utility usage data to be shared with OhmConnect, and becoming an active OhmConnect user within 30 days of creating your OhmConnect account. While supplies last.
The Credit Offer Promotion cannot be combined with any other OhmConnect promotions or offerings. OhmConnect reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, modify or terminate the Credit Offer Promotion for any reason or for no reason. All information collected by OhmConnect in connection with the Credit Offer Promotion will be collected and used in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
To be eligible for the Promotion, you must satisfy all of the following conditions and steps:
To receive your $50 wallet credit, you must satisfy steps 1-3 on or before December 31, 2024, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time and within 30 days of creating your OhmConnect account.
Step 1:
Set up an OhmConnect Account. You must become a first time, fully enrolled customer of OhmConnect. To do so, visit the offer page via a link provided by a partner participating in this Credit Offer Promotion and create a new OhmConnect account by providing your email address, zip code, first name, and phone number and creating a password. To become an OhmConnect customer, you must agree to the Terms of Service.
Step 2:
Authorize Your Utility to Share Usage Data. As part of enrolling in OhmConnect’s demand response program, as well as to be eligible for this Promotion, you must authorize your utility usage data to be shared with OhmConnect.
Before proceeding to Step 3, your utility (PG&E, SCE, or SDG&E) must confirm that sharing has been authorized. Depending on your utility’s authorization process, this may take anywhere from 2 minutes to several weeks, although the average time is approximately 10 minutes.
Step 3:
Become an Active OhmConnect User: To complete the qualifications for a $50 wallet credit, you must complete a qualifying activity to become an active user before the end of the Promotional Period and within 30 days of creating your OhmConnect account. A “qualifying activity” means: (a) logging into your OhmConnect account, (b) purchasing an item from the OhmConnect store, (c) connecting a new device to OhmConnect’s demand response program for the first time, or (d) inviting new members to join OhmConnect’s demand response program. Please allow 30 days for the wallet credit to be added to your wallet after you complete a qualifying activity.
You are solely responsible for purchasing, maintaining and using at your own expense all utility, Wi-Fi, access to the internet, communications and other equipment and devices necessary to participate in the Promotion.
Employees, officers and directors of OhmConnect, its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion, and production agencies, Webmasters and Web suppliers, their immediate family members (parents, grandparents, children, siblings, and spouse of any of the foregoing) regardless of where they live and individuals residing in their same household, whether related or not, are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
Any fraudulent, deceptive or illegal activity, including using automated, robotic methods of online participation, and tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Promotion, as determined by OhmConnect in its sole discretion, will result in disqualification from the Promotion. OhmConnect may also prosecute such persons to the full extent of the law.
From time to time, OhmConnect may change these Offer Terms. If it does so, the “Last Updated” line above will be revised. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these Offer Terms. Your continued participation in the Promotion following the posting of changes to the Offer Terms indicates your acceptance of those changes. OhmConnect also reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion for any reason or for no reason.
