OhmConnect has a 20,000 Watts per hour cap on events, and the reason for this is three fold. The cap is in place as it mirrors how the energy market pays us, to prevent fraudulent activity, and to ensure that in the event utilities send us inaccurate or overinflated energy data that the system doesn't break. 

  

Based on the energy market's cap on prices, OhmConnect is paid a maximum amount per MWh, which is then calculated to a kWh equivalent for our member's OhmHour events.
