### What does IFTTT stand for? 

IFTTT is the acronym for the concept "If this then that." If you think back to high school math class, you might remember the "If/Then" statements that were used to solve mathematical proofs. If geometry memories aren't easy to conjure up, you likely use this concept in your day to day life, without even knowing it. For example, "If it's cold outside, I'll take the bus to work instead of riding my bike."  
  

IFTTT pulls from the idea of the "If/Then" statement and introduces it to your life in a productive way. Through the IFTTT site and app, users are able to create logic statements that help them pair up internet-enabled services and devices in ways that can make life easier, more efficient or more entertaining. Here's a fun one: "If it rains, then I'll order a pizza from Dominos."
