## OhmConnect status levels range from Silver to Diamond, and the higher your status the more rewards you can redeem!

### Status Calculation 

Your status is determined by your average energy-savings across your previous 5 OhmHour events. We add up your usage from the past 5 OhmHours (total kWh), and subtract the total amount of energy that you used during those events. Then, we divide that difference by your total usage over those events to determine your average savings. Your status level is displayed at the top of your OhmConnect dashboard (see image below).

To achieve each status level, you will need the following average energy reduction across your previous 5 OhmHours :

  
Gold: 15%  
  

Platinum : 40%  
  

Diamond: 80%  
  

To note: Silver status is reached when you have successfully connected your utility, and does not have a discount.

Your status level determines the incredible discounts that you are eligible for in the [Rewards Marketplace](https://app.ohmconnect.com/rewards).   
  

*   Gold status earns a 5% discount  
      
    
*   Platinum status a 15% discount  
      
    
*   Diamond status a 30% discount

  

Keep in mind that if you have solar, your status will be calculated differently to account for your solar generation!
