## Everything you need to know about event forgiveness!

During OhmHour events, OhmConnect sends out thousands of notifications, and controls upwards of a million devices. While we are constantly improving the process, there are inevitably times when we fail to send a notification, or power down a device. In the event this occurs, we rely on our trusty automated OhmHour event forgiveness feature!   
  

When we recognize that we did not send you an OhmHour or AutoOhm start notification within five minutes of an OhmHour or AutoOhm starting and/or had a failure on our end to control your devices, we will do the following:  
  

*   Email you and put an announcement on your dashboard to let you know that it happened and what the next steps are.   
      
    
*   Protect your streak and status and remove any negative Watts if needed when your results get processed. Please note that this will happen once we receive the data from your utility.
