## Here's how you reauthorize your utility with Renew Home, the parent company of [OhmConnect](https://www.ohmconnect.com/?campaign=blog&sub_campaign=help-article&channel=how-to-reauthorize-your-utility-sdg-e-h1pirpcso)!

If you haven't been connected for a week, something might have been done incorrectly with your authorization. Here is how to restart your authorization.

**Step 2: Click End Data Sharing to close your existing authorization.**

**Step 3: Select the service account associated with the current authorization and click Next.**

**Step 4: Confirm your selection by clicking End Data Sharing.**

**Step 5: Navigate to your OhmConnect dashboard by [**clicking here**](https://app.ohmconnect.com) and reconnect your utility.**

**Step 6: Last step! Click Authorize Data Sharing to finish.**

After the utility connection is completed, you have successfully reauthorized your account!

## What's next?

* You've now done everything you need to enroll with Renew Home (the parent company of OhmConnect). Your utility will verify your authorization to see if they have everything they need.
* This process can take up to 3-5 days. You can all check this information on your [settings](http://app.ohmconnect.com/settings) page.
