[Community Choice Aggregations](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_Choice_Aggregation) (CCAs) are local, non-profit, organizations that purchase energy from a variety of sources on behalf of local residents. While electricity delivery, management, maintenance, and billing are still carried out by your utility, the overall goal of a CCA is to provide more renewable, and ultimately cleaner, energy sources.

### I’m enrolled in a CCA. Can I still participate with OhmConnect?

OhmConnect works in all CCA territories! There are no conflicts to your enrollment, and you will reap the benefits of both the CCA and OhmConnect.

### How do I know if I'm in a CCA?

### What CCA's are in areas that OhmConnect works? 

*   Lancaster Choice Energy (LCE): Residents of Lancaster and Palmdale, California were automatically shifted to LCE beginning May 2015.   
      
    
*   Marin Clean Energy (MCE): Some residents of Marin County, Napa County, Benicia, El Cerrito, Lafayette, Richmond, San Pablo and Walnut Creek are being automatically shifted to MCE beginning May 2016.   
      
    
*   Peninsula Clean Energy (PCE): Residents of San Mateo county began shifting to Peninsula Clean Energy beginning October 1, 2016.  
      
    
*   Sonoma Clean Power (SCP): Sonoma Clean Power is the dominant supplier of electricity in the Sonoma region, serving 90% of residential and commercial customers. One of the early CCAs, Sonoma Clean Power began offering electricity in early 2016.   
      
    
*   San Jose Clean Energy (SJCE): San Jose Clean Energy, or SJCE, is San Jose's local, not-for-profit electricity supplier operated by the City of San Jose. Since 2019, we have provided clean energy for residents and businesses at competitive rates, while also offering community programs, local control, and more transparency and accessibility.
