Similar to Renew Home, the parent company of OhmConnect, utility providers and third party companies offer incentivized energy-saving programs. As these programs pay members for the energy they save, California law currently dictates that you can only be enrolled in one program at a time. If you've chosen Renew Home, the parent company of OhmConnect (great choice by the way), follow these steps to disenroll from the conflicting program!

### Disenrolling

The disenrollment process varies from program to program. If you are disenrolling from a program by phone, we highly recommend requesting written confirmation of your removal from the program. The process of disenrollment involves approval from the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) as well as the California Public Utility Commission, so hang tight as it can take up to three weeks to confirm you are no longer enrolled. 

### Power Saver Rewards

[Power Saver Rewards](https://www.sdge.com/residential/savings-center/energy-saving-programs/reduce-your-use/power-saver-program?keywords=power%20saver%20rewards) is offered for residential SDG&E customers. For more information on the program details, you can reach a call center representative at 866-291-9516. To disenroll, you will need to fill out and submit [this form](https://www.sdge.com/assistance-programs/account-lookup/elrp). Following your request, it can take up to two weeks for Power Savers Rewards to complete the disenrollment process.

### Capacity Bidding

[Capacity Bidding](https://www.sdge.com/businesses/savings-center/energy-management-programs/demand-response/capacity-bidding-program?keywords=capacity%20bidding) or CBP is offered to businesses who commit to a monthly reduction of energy. You can disenroll by reaching out to their Energy Saving Center by phone at 1-877-377-4735, or by email at [drp@sdge.com](mailto:drp@sdge.com).

### Third Party Programs 

There are numerous Demand Response programs offered by third party providers, and are commonly run as thermostat incentive programs. In most cases, the program you are enrolled in will not be visible on your SDG&E account, and you will need to reach out to the program directly to disenroll.
