## Connect your SDG&E utility account to Renew Home, the parent company of OhmConnect, and we will reward you for saving energy! 

When demand on the grid is high, we reward you for saving energy during OhmHours and AutoOhms events. Renew Home partners with select utility providers, such as SDG&E, who send us your energy use details via the data from your smart meter.   
  

### Follow these steps to connect your SDG&E utility account:   
  

1. [Log in](https://app.ohmconnect.com/login) to your OhmConnect dashboard.   
  

2\. Navigate to 'Utility Account & Event Eligibility' on your settings page and click 'Connect my Utility'. Depending on the state of your account, you may see the option to connect your utility on the main page of your dashboard.

3\. You will be redirected to the SDG&E site where you'll be prompted to log in to your SDG&E account.

4\. Confirm the correct address is selected.   
  

5\. Select 'Ongoing' under data sharing options.   
  

6\. Click 'Submit'!

  

**To note:** Once you have taken all the necessary steps, you'll know the process is complete when you are redirected back to your OhmConnect dashboard,
