There is a maximum amount that someone can earn during an #OhmHour.

For a regular #OhmHour, the maximum amount is 2,000 points per hour. So if the #OhmHour is one hour, you can earn a maximum of 2,000 points. If it's two hours, the maximum is 4,000 points and so on.

For MEGA #OhmHours, the maximum amount is set at 20,000 points for all event lengths.

Why are there caps?
The 2,000 point per hour cap is in place to mirror how the energy market pays us, prevent fraudulent activity, and ensure the system doesn't break if utilities accidentally send us inaccurate or overinflated energy data (which has happened!).
