As a Google Nest thermostat owner, you may be aware that Nest and Google Home joined together as Google Nest earlier this year to create a more helpful home. As part of this change, Google will be asking Nest customers to migrate their Nest Account to a Google Account, so that Google and Nest devices and services, as well as partner connections like OhmConnect, work better together, and provide improved account security.

What this means for you:
In the next weeks, you will need to reconnect your Google Nest thermostat to OhmConnect through Google’s new system. Google will send you an email when this is ready and lay out directions to make it as simple as possible.

Migrating will only take a few minutes and doesn’t cost a thing.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate you being a valuable part of our OhmConnect community.

For OhmConnect users looking to connect their Google Nest:
Connections to new Google Nest thermostats are currently disabled until the transition begins. We will send you an email when it’s time to connect your Nest thermostat. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience.
